All 68 places you can fly to from East Midlands Airport

The winter is here and it's miserable outside - so for many of us, it's time to start thinking about the next trip abroad. Luckily for us, we have East Midlands Airport[1] on our doorstep so it couldn't be easier to soar off to warmer parts of the world.

While it isn't the biggest airport in the country, East Midlands Airport has plenty of destinations to chose from. Between them, the airlines operating out of the airport near Castle Donington[2] fly to 68 destinations.

While travel to some locations involves connecting flights and a trip of more than four hours, many of the destinations - particularly the warmer ones - can be reached in less than three hours. Options include the island of Menorca, two hours and 35 minutes from Leicestershire, Naples, in Italy, just two hours and 45 minutes away, Barcelona, in Spain, with two-and-a-half-hour flights, or holiday favourite Alicante, just a couple of hours away.

Or if you love a long-haul trip to really get away from it all, there are destinations such as New York, Barbados and Jamaica to fly to. All of the destinations, as listed on the East Midlands Airport website, are in alphabetical order below. Not all destinations are available all year round.
