Motorcyclist in critical condition after collision with car in Hinckley

A motorcyclist is in critical condition in hospital after a collision in Hinckley[1]. Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a man, in his 20s, suffered serious injuries in a collision with a black Dacia Logan.

The incident happened at around 4.50pm yesterday (Saturday December 23) on Coventry Road. The occupants of the Dacia were not injured and no one was arrested. The incident involved an orange KTM off road-style motorcycle.

Detective Sergeant Jon Putnam, from the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU),[2] said: “Our investigation into this collision is continuing today and I’m keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and has a dashcam in their vehicle.

“I’d also like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or witnessed either vehicle prior to the collision occurring. Anything you’re able to tell us could help.”
