Market Street, Downpatrick: ‘Serious’ road crash causing delays

Meanwhile, the A4 Belfast Road at its junction with Enniskillen Rd at Lisbellaw is being closed due to a serious road traffic collision.

A diversion being is being set up with motorists urged to seek another route.

Earlier, a “serious road traffic collision” at Market Street in Downpatrick near Santander Bank has now been cleared and traffic getting back to normal for this time of day.

The crash was said to be “impacting traffic severely” in area with motorists asked to seek an alternative route if possible.

Another Co Down road was closed on Wednesday afternoon following a crash.
