A 64-year-old man has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A90 at Toll of Birness.
Two lorries and a car were involved in the incident which took place at about 10.40am this morning.
The A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road was closed between Toll of Birness and Hatton for more than eight hours.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called to a road crash around 10.40am on A90 near Toll of Birness involving a two lorries and a car.
“Officers attended and a 64-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”

Officers attended the scene to driect traffic while the road closure was in place.
Motorists were told to expect longer than normal journeys and advised to use the local diversion.

Traffic Scotland[1] shared an update online to confirm “clear-up” was continuing at the scene this evening.
The ambulance service confirmed they dispatched crews to the scene who then transported the 64-year-old man to hospital.
A spokesman added: “We received a call at 10.36am to attend an incident on the A90 at Toll of Birness[2].
“An ambulance and one of our special operations response teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
