Detectives seek information following generator theft in Lanarkshire

Thieves in [1] have made off with a high-value generator from a railway site.

Now detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.  They are also asking motorists who may have been in the area to check their dashcam footage.

The equipment, worth £20,000, was taken from the site in Wildman Road in [2], [3].  The theft took place on Sunday 12 November at some time between 17:25 and 17:40.

The generator was loaded into a vehicle which made off via Wildman Road to Station Road, then on to Brownlee Road and Horsley Brae. Detectives are asking any motorist travelling along this route at the time to check their dashcams.  Anyone parked along the route is also encouraged to check if they have any information.
