Tragedy as man and two dogs found dead at North Staffordshire home

Police are not treating the death of an OAP as suspicious. Staffordshire Police are now preparing a report for the coroner following the tragedy.

The alarm was raised on Uttoxeter Road, in Draycott, at 8.13am on Tuesday, November 14. There was nothing paramedics could do to revive the man.

Now Staffordshire Police[1] have revealed that two dogs were also found dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said: "We received a report of a man in distress in Draycott-in-the-Moors. Officers went to the address with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service[2].

"Sadly, a man in his 70s was found dead inside. Two dogs were also found dead. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for HM coroner."

Police are now attempting to try to piece together the man's last-known movements. Any witnesses should call the police on 101.
