Network Rail to close Hamstead Level Crossing for essential …
A level crossing will be closed at the end of the month.
Hamstead Level Crossing on Park Lane, Marsh Benham in Hamstead Marshall will be closed on November 19.
The closure will last between 12.30am and 8.30am to enable Network Rail to carry out essential maintenance works.
Blue light access will not be maintained.
During the closure, all traffic will be diverted via Park Lane, Milkhouse Road, A4 (Bath Road), Station Road, Newbury Street, Holt Road, Unnamed Road from Holt Road to Tinkers Corner, Unnamed Road from Tinkers Corner to Hamstead Marshall, Unnamed Road from Holtwood Road to Hamstead Marshall, Park Lane, Road known as Park Lane, Park Lane and vice versa.
