Lanarkshire police hunt suspects as woman injured in broad …

Detectives are appealing for information after a woman was robbed on a street in Lanarkshire[1] yesterday (Tuesday, October 17) afternoon.

The 32-year-old victim was approached by a man and woman who assaulted[2] her before making off on foot, with her mobile phone. The incident took place on Craigbank Road, near to the junction with Ness Gardens, in Larkhall, at around 3pm.

The victim was left needing hospital treatment for injuries sustained during the attack. An appeal for CCTV footage has now been launched as police[3] investigate what happened.

Detective Constable Graeme Easton said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area around that time to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area."

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1984 of 17 October, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
