Dog missing after pick-up truck stolen from farm
A dog is missing after a pick-up truck was stolen from a Midlands farm. The white Toyota Hilux was later found abandoned in Brierley Hill but the Jack Russell was no where to be seen.
The dog was believed to be inside the vehicle, which was taken from a property in Sandy Lane, Kinver, just after 10am today (Tuesday, October 3). The truck was seen leaving the address with a trailer attached to it.
Staffordshire Police[1] say the suspected thief has been described as around 6ft tall, of a slim build, with brown hair. He was wearing blue shorts and a white jacket.
A force spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after a pick-up truck, containing a dog, was stolen from a farm in South Staffordshire. We later found the truck abandoned in Brierley Hill[3] and seized it for examination.
"At this stage, we think a Jack Russell dog was in the stolen truck when it was taken. The dog was not found with the truck and we are still trying to find it."
