The A29 near Horsham[1] was closed on Tuesday morning (October 17) after a crash involving a van and motorbike, which tragically saw a 66-year-old man die at the scene. The incident, in Slinfold, resulted in the road being closed for several hours.

Traffic in the area is slow as a result of the crash, which traffic analytics company Inrix reported happened at Slinfold Golf Club. A spokesperson for Inrix said at the time: "A29 Stane Street in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to serious accident, a lorry and a motorbike involved at Slinfold Golf Club.

"Sensors show traffic is not able to get passed." Sussex Police have launched an appeal for witnesses.
