A14, A1, A11 and A47 road closures in and around Cambs this week

Overnight road closures are planned on a number of key roads across Cambridgeshire^[1] and surrounding areas in the coming week. Work is set to take place on major routes such as the A14, A1, A11 and A47^[2].

These works include electrical works and carriageway reconstruction including resurfacing works and white lining/road markings. Traffic may be diverted while roads are shut and this could cause delays.

National Highways has released the below information for drivers travelling through Cambridgeshire and beyond this week (October 23-29):

Monday, October 23

A1 northbound Hail Weston entry slip road closure, lane closure and diversion route for horticulture (cutting and planting) on behalf of National Highways. 9pm to 5am.

A14^[5] both directions Jct 33 entry exit slip road closures for resurfacing works on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council. 9pm to 5am.
