A road closure near a Cambridgeshire hospital will see diversions put in place. The closure of Bretton Gate between Peterborough[1] City Hospital and the A47 will be in place between September 12 and 14.

The closure will be overnight between 8pm and 6am. A diversion will be in place on the A47 for motorists and will be signposted.

A spokesperson for Peterborough City Council said: "Bretton Gate between the City Hospital and A47 will be closed from 12-14 Sept from 8pm-6am for surface improvement work. Signed diversions will be in place north east on the A47, south on Gresley Way and west on Bretton Gate."

They added that there would be access for emergency services only.
