Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire Aug 21-27

The busy M62 and an east Hull corridor will be visited by mobile speed cameras in the coming days.

The M62 in East Yorkshire and Saltshouse Road in Hull will be the focus of speed monitoring over the next week. Other routes due to be visited by enforcement officers will include Kingsgate in Bridlington and the A1033 in Patrington.

Safer Roads Humber and Humberside Police enforce cameras around the region to help crack down on speeding motorists. Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website.

However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region. Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in East Yorkshire.

  • Mon Aug 21: Kingsgate in Bridlington
  • Tue Aug 22: B1237 Saltshouse Road in Hull
  • Wed Aug 23: M62 between East Riding boundary and junction 35
  • Thu Aug 24: Market Weighton Road / Cliffe Road in North Cliffe and South Cliffe
  • Fri Aug 25: A1033 in Patrington
  • Sat Aug 26: Sites across the region
  • Sun Aug 27: Sites across the region

For those crossing the Humber Bridge, mobile speed cameras will be coming to:

  • Mon Aug 21: A15 from Barnetby Top to Humber Bridge and vice versa
  • Tue Aug 22: Trentside in Derrythorpe
  • Wed Aug 23: Station Road in Habrough
  • Thu Aug 24: Humberston Road in Cleethorpes (40mph)
  • Fri Aug 25: Weelsby Road in Grimsby
  • Sat Aug 26: Sites across the region
  • Sun Aug 27: Sites across the region

Humberside Police, in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed above. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time.
