M11, A14, A1 and A47 road closures around Cambridgeshire this …

Overnight road closures are planned on a number of key roads across Cambridgeshire[1] and surrounding areas in the coming week. Work is set to take place on major routes such as M11, A14, A1 and A47[2].

These works include carriageway reconstruction and horticulture. Traffic may be diverted while roads are shut and could cause delays.

National Highways has released information about road closures on motorways and major A roads until the end of August. Read on to find out what to expect.

A1 northbound Wyboston to Buckden – carriageway closure, lane closure and diversion route for carriageway reconstruction/renewal on behalf of National Highways. 9pm to 5am.

A1 (M) northbound Jct 15 to Jct 17 – Jct 16 entry slip closure and lane 1 closure for electrical works. 8pm to 6am.

A14[4] both directions Jct 21 to Jct 33 – exit and entry slip road closures, lane closures and diversion routes for horticulture (cutting and planting) on behalf of National Highways. 8pm to 6am.

A14 eastbound Jct 21 to Jct 22 – carriageway closure, lane closure and diversion route for drainage on behalf of National Highways. 8pm to 5am.

A14 eastbound and westbound Jct 4 to Jct 10 – carriageway and lane closures due to electrical works. Diversion via National Highways and local authority network. 8pm to 6am.
