LIVE: Heavy delays on M61 after ‘vehicle overturns’ – latest updates
Queues are building on a stretch of the M61[1] this morning after a crash.
According to traffic alert service Inrix, a vehicle has overturned on the scene. Two lanes have been closed off on the southbound carriageway.
The lanes are shut between junction eight for Chorley and junction six for Horwich. Traffic is building up to the closure.

A tweet posted by the North West Motorway Police said: "Two lanes are currently closed on the M61 SB Between J8 - J6 due to an RTC. National highways are on scene dealing."
