Man hospitalised after knocked UNCONSCIOUS in shop

A man had to be taken to hospital after he was knocked unconscious by a punch inside a Swindon[1] shop.

The incident occurred inside one of the shops on Worsley Road, Freshbrook, at around 9pm on Friday night.

The man, aged in his 50s, was punched by a known man in the attack which left him unconscious.

He was taken to hospital where he was treated for suspected broken bones to his face.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We responded to reports of an assault in a shop in Worsley Road.

“We would appeal for anyone who saw what happened to contact us on 101, quoting the reference number 54230076944.”
