M4ulti-vehicle crash closes M4 near Slough – as it happened
A multi-vehicle crash closed the M4 this afternoon (Tuesday) near Slough. The road was first reported as closed around 3.22pm.
The closure was eastbound by junction 6 for Slough. Traffic at the scene was being diverted via the exit and entry sliproads.
Emergency services attended the scene. National Highways traffic officers were also there.
National Highways said: "Following a multiple-vehicle collision, the #M4[1] has been closed within J6 for #Slough[2]. At this stage, traffic is diverted via the exit and entry slip roads around the incident.
"Emergency services and #TrafficOfficers[3] are en route. Delays are building on the approach."
