Lorry driver in hospital after colliding with barrier on A11

The driver of a lorry remains in hospital in a stable condition after his vehicle left the road and crashed into a barrier on the A11 Monday (July 10). The collision happened at around 11.20am on the southbound carriageway of the A11 just 200 yards from the Spooner Row slip road.

The incident involved a white HGV who left the road and collided with the barriers. The driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving prior to the collision. They would also like to hear from anyone who has any dashcam footage from the time of the incident.
