Live updates as A370 at Long Ashton closed due to lorry crash

The A370 is closed between Flax Bourton and Long Ashton[1] after a lorry crash on the busy route heading into Bristol[2]. Traffic service Inrix reports that the crash happened just before 4.45pm.

"A370 Eastbound blocked, slow traffic due to accident[3], a lorry involved from A4174 Colliters Way (Gurney Roundabout) to B3128 (Failand turn off)," says Inrix. "Affecting traffic heading to Bristol."

There is slow traffic in the area with tailbacks between Flax Bourton and Long Ashton[4].
