Live A180 updates after crash closes road near Barnetby

A crash has closed the A180[1] near Barnetby tonight (Thursday). Drivers have been asked to avoid the eastbound dual carriageway close to Barnetby Top.

The A180 westbound from the Immingham turnoff with the A1173 are also to be avoided, say police. Heavy traffic is reportedly building in the area.

Humberside Police[2] said: "Motorists are asked to avoid the A180 eastbound from Barnetby Top and also the A180 Westbound from the Immingham turnoff with the A1173 whilst emergency services deal with an incident. Thank you for your patience."

Inrix traffic monitoring system said: "A180 Eastbound closed, heavy traffic due to accident from J5 A18 (Barnetby Top, Barnetby) to The A160 (Brocklesby Interchange, Habrough)."
