Delays warning over two-day A444 lane closure

Motorists are being warned they could face delays during a two-day lane closure on the A444 in Nuneaton[1]. The lane closure will be in place from the College Street island to the Coton Arches island, on both sides of the carriageway.

It will also impact the Coton Arches roundabout itself. This is because contractors will be refreshing road markings along the stretch of road and around the island.

The works are set to take place on Tuesday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 19. The roadworks are highlighted for potential delays on the Warwickshire County Council[2] online roadworks map.

There are also planned roadworks on the nearby Bull Ring later in the week. There will be multi-way signals in place from Friday, July 21 to Tuesday, July 25.

This is for minor repatching works to take place to the road. There are also ongoing three-way roadworks on nearby Heath End Road[3] that may add further delays to traffic in the area.
