An air ambulance had attended a two van crash on the A259 and part of the westbound lane is closed.

The air ambulance landed in a field in Ovingdean to attend a two van crash at the St Dustons roundabout.

Traffic in the area is slow in the area.

According to sensors, the A259 Marine Drive at Rottingdean is partially blocked and there is queueing traffic due to the accident.

Buses are being diverted due to the road closure.
