Woman injured after rush-hour crash in Coventry

A woman was left injured following a crash in Coventry[1]. It happened at the junction of the A444[2] and B4113 on Tuesday, June 27.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision shortly after 8am. A car and a lorry had collided near the Blue Ribbon Roundabout in Foleshill[3].

A woman, who was the driver of the car, had suffered minor injuries. She was checked by paramedics and discharged at the scene at around 8.30am, confirmed West Midlands Ambulance Service[4].

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service[5] said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a lorry at the junction of the A444[6] and B4113 at 8.07am, one ambulance attended the scene. On arrival, we discovered one patient, a woman, who was the car driver. She was assessed for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.”
