Man taken to hospital after falling from scooter in Bedworth

A man was taken to hospital after falling from his scooter in Bedworth[1]. It happened at the junction of Newtown Road and Heath Road.

Officers were called to the scene of the incident at around 10.30am on Saturday, June 10. Paramedics were also called at around 10.45am.

A man was found with minor injuries, confirmed West Midlands Ambulance Service[2]. He was treated at the scene before being taken to George Eliot Hospital[3].

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service[4] said: “We were called to reports of a patient who had fallen from his scooter at the junction of Newtown Road and Heath Road at 10.46 am, one ambulance attended the scene. On arrival, we discovered one male patient who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to George Eliot Hospital[5].”
