The police have issued an update following a road traffic collision this afternoon.
The incident involved a collision[1] between a car and a lorry on the A46 Brownhills roundabout just outside of Newark.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called to the scene at 3.36pm this afternoon (June 26) and closed the road due to it being partially blocked.
No injuries were reported and both drivers exchanged details.
The incident caused long tailbacks on the A1, A46, A17 and Lincoln Road out of Newark.
Road users are advised that delays are expected as the vehicles await recovery.
