A14 closed in both directions near Claydon after lorry crash

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash, between junction 52 for Claydon and junction 51 for Needham Market, at 5.10am on Friday. 

Both the westbound and eastbound carriageways are shut as a result of the incident.

The extent of any injuries is currently unclear.

The AA Traffic Map is showing there are delays of around 20 minutes heading westbound, with drivers told to allow extra time for their journey.

Diversion routes are in place. 

Drivers heading westbound are advised to exit the A14 at junction 52, before travelling on the B1113 through Great Blakenham and Needham Market to the A1120 and rejoining the A14 at junction 50.

For people heading eastbound, drivers are advised to exit the A14 at junction 51.
