There are planned roadworks and closures taking place in Northamptonshire this week beginning Monday, May 15. It's always best to check before you travel to prevent any unwanted hold-ups on your morning commute.

Here are the roadworks impacting Northamptonshire motorists this week

  • A43 - SILVERSTONE - NORTHBOUND: A43 Northbound closed due to roadworks during the night from Silverstone (Silverstone) to Brackley Road (Towcester). Between 9.30pm and 6am Mondays to Sundays from 9.30pm on May 12 to 6am on June 30.

  • A43 - NORTHAMPTON - BOTH DIRECTIONS: One lane is closed due to roadworks on A43 in both directions around M1 J15A (Towcester / Northampton Services) until May 28.

  • A508 NORTHAMPTON ROAD - GRAFTON REGIS: Temporary traffic lights due to roadworks on A508 Northampton Road near Pury Road until December 1.

  • APPLETREE LANE - ASTON LE WALLS - BOTH DIRECTIONS: Appletree Lane in both directions is closed due to long-term roadworks from Chipping Warden (Aston Le Walls) to Chipping Warden (Chipping Warden). Closed for HS2 works. Until 6pm on December 11, 2024.

  • BURCOTE ROAD - TOWCESTER - BOTH DIRECTIONS: Burcote Road in both directions is closed due to roadworks between Earls Farm Way and A413 until August 7.

  • ARL STREET - NORTHAMPTON - BOTH DIRECTIONS: Earl Street in both directions is closed due to roadworks from Robert Street to Military Road until 12pm on May 28.

  • OLD ROAD - WALGRAVE: Traffic taking turns due to roadworks on Old Road at High Street until May 16.

  • STOKE ROAD - BLISWORTH: Temporary traffic lights due to roadworks on Stoke Road at Knock Lane until December 1.

  • OLIVER STREET - ABINGTON - BOTH DIRECTIONS: Oliver Street in both directions is closed due to roadworks from A5123 Kettering Road to Junction Road until May 17.
