Man suffers ‘stab wounds’ in attack taken to hospital

A man received suspected stab wounds to his stomach after he was reportedly assaulted by another man in a Lincolnshire town. The verbal altercation is reported to have taken place in Oxford Street, Grantham[1], between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Friday, April 28. A man aged between 18 and 23 was reported as having a verbal altercation with another man in the street before assaulting[2] him and leaving him with suspected stab wounds to his stomach.

He is described as having a medium build, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins with dark coloured fringe length hair. The victim, in his 40s, was taken to hospital as a result but thankfully his injuries are not serious. Lincolnshire Police[3] is appealing for witnesses and information following the assault.
