Car jackers threaten woman with blade before fleeing in her Ford …

Carjackers threatened a woman with a blade before fleeing in her Ford Fiesta. The woman was in Goodrest Lane, near Wythall[1], when thugs pulled a knife on her. They then reportedly drove off with her car at about 7pm on Tuesday, May 2.

The vehicle crashed outside a row of houses in Groveley Lane, Longbridge, later that day. Officers are now calling on witnesses with dashcam footage which could help their investigation to step forward. It comes after some drivers stopped at the time of the crash.

West Mercia Police[3] said: "Police are appealing for motorists who may have witnessed a stolen car being crashed to come forward. The Ford Fiesta, registration EK56 WJO, was stolen close to the border with the West Midlands Police[4] area at around 7pm on Tuesday. "Offenders produced a knife to threaten the female vehicle owner in Goodrest Lane before driving off with her car.

It was later crashed in Groveley Lane, a busy road in Longbridge[5], outside a row of houses by Primrose Court.

"Some other vehicles stopped at the time and anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact [email protected][6] or call her on 07977 957767."
