Tribute to ‘much loved’ nan who ‘leaves a massive hole’

Tributes have been paid to a "much loved" woman who "leaves a massive hole" after recently passing away. Trish Cohen, 87, died on April 9 and tributes have been paid to her as well as several others in this week's Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media is a long-standing tradition and we are proud of the trust placed in us to make these important announcements.

Audrey Celine ADLER (Ballinger)[3] (Ballinger) Audrey Celine Adler (nee Ballinger) passed away peacefully at her home in Great Baddow, Essex on Palm Sunday April 2nd 2023, aged 93.

She was much loved and will be greatly missed by husband Michael, sons Alun and John, daughters-in-law Jacqueline and Alison and grandchildren Eloise, Rory, Eleanor and Joanna. She loved her books, her songs and her poems and above all, her family. Funeral service will be at Chelmsford Crematorium on Friday May 12th at 3.30pm.

Family flowers only please but we welcome donations to Alzheimer's Research care of T Pennack & Sons tel 01245 471157 or via a box after the service. Jean ALDER[4] passed away peacefully at Broomfield Hospital after a short illness on 4th April 2023.

Tony (John Anthony) BOWDEN[5] Tony of Bowden's Estate Agents (now Mullucks) passed away peacefully on March 16th. He will be sadly missed by Kathie, Cherry and Ant, and his seven grandchildren.

Service at Basingstoke Crematorium at 2pm on Tuesday 25th April - all welcome. No flowers please. Donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society.

Patricia (Trish) COHEN[6]

(Trish) Sadly passed away on 9 April 2023, aged 87 years. Much loved mum of Geoff & Anna, Mother-in-Law to Sam, Nan to Fiona, Ian & John, Glamma to Cameron, Ivy & Roman and widow of her loving husband Dave. She leaves a massive whole in our lives and will never be forgotten.

Funeral will be held in the North Chapel at Chelmsford Crematorium on Friday 28 April 2023 at 2pm. A celebration of her life will follow. Flowers welcome.

(Gerry) Passed away at Broomfield Hospital on April 6th. Beloved husband of Pamela, loving dad to Katharine and Sarah, and devoted grandad to Daniel and Emily.

(Wills) (Jen) On Thursday 16th March 2023 Jen Hatherley, beloved mother, passed away peacefully at Woodland Care Home.

Jen was aged 78 years. Jen was a much loved part of the Debenhams Plymouth team for many years and helped 1000's of customers in Plymouth with their needs, with her years of detailed knowledge, and her fun and laughter. She was much loved by many and will be missed by her family and friends.

(Alex) Alex passed away in February. It is with much sadness that his family mourn his passing.

The funeral has taken place. Keith Michael REGAN[12] of Brentwood, sadly passed away on the 4th April 2023 at Queens Hospital aged 73.

He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral service to be held at Bentley Crematorium on Monday 24th April at 10.30am.
