Rolex watch stolen after raiders use rock to smash way into home

A Rolex watch was stolen from a home after thieves smashed their way in using a rock. The incident happened in Painswick Road, Cheltenham[1], on Good Friday (April 7) and is one of a number of crimes listed by police in a crime round-up. Officers said the raiders used the rock to break a small side panel on the front door.

They then reached in to unlock the door. A search was then made of the property, with the thieves going through drawers between 1.40pm and 3.15pm. A ladies Rolex wrist watch with a dark grey face has been stolen and anyone with information can contact police quoting incident 254 of April 7.

In a separate incident in Bisley Road, Cheltenham, a vehicle was entered and three pairs of sunglasses, a tool box and multiple tools were stolen. It happened between 7pm on Easter Sunday (April 9 ) and and 3.15pm on Wednesday, April 12, incident number is 249 of April 12. The vehicle was parked on a driveway, no damage was caused.

It was later reported that the spare wheel and GBP16 in change has also been stolen. This is Incident 249 of April 12. Another incident in Cold Pool Lane, saw a van stolen from the driveway of a home on April 18 at 12.26pm The van was full of tools, one ton of sand and five bags of cement.
