Urgent 999 appeal for missing Banwell man Iain

Police have issued a 999 appeal to help locate a missing man in Somerset. A tweet from Avon and Somerset Police[1] said the man called Iain has not been seen since yesterday (May 29).

The force said officers are concerned for the Banwell local's welfare. Officers said in the tweet[2] the 51-year-old may be travelling around on foot or via public transport.

The appeal describes Iain as white, 6ft 2ins tall with short blond hair and a tattoo on his left arm. Police have urged anyone who knows where Iain is to call 999 straight away.

Police said in a tweet: "Have you seen Iain, missing from Banwell? He's white, aged 51 and 6ft 2ins with short blond hair and a tattoo on his left arm.

"He may be on foot or public transport. We're concerned for his welfare.

"If you know where Iain is now, pls call 999 ref 5223126182, or 101 with other info."
