Man rushed to hospital after two-car crash on M6 near Coventry

A man has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the M6 near Coventry[1]. It happened between J2 and J3 earlier today (Tuesday, May 23).

Paramedics were called to the scene at around 9.30am. A lane closure was put in place while emergency services dealt with the collision, reported Inrix.

Crews found that a man had suffered minor injuries, confirmed West Midlands Ambulance Service[2]. He was quickly taken to University Hospital Coventry[3].

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service[5] said: “We were called at around 9.30am to reports of an RTC on the M6 between Junctions 3 and 2 near Henley. One ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered two cars had been involved in a collision.

“One male patient was assessed by ambulance staff and treated for minor injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire[6] for further treatment.”
