M40, A46, and A429 disruption after lorry sheds load at roundabout

Drivers have been warned to expect disruption after a lorry shed its load on a roundabout. The clean up operation affecting a number of major routes was expected to last until about 3pm today, Tuesday, May 30.

Warwickshire Police urged motorists to avoid the Sherbourne roundabout. Delays were expected tro sections leading to the A46, M40 and the A429.

Police said a road closure is in place. This is to allow the 90-minute clean up.

Taking to Twitter, Warwickshire Police posted: "Motorists are advised to avoid the Sherbourne roundabout on the sections leading to the A46, M40 and the A429. A lorry shed its load and a road closure has been put in place.

"As of 1.13pm today, May 30, the clean-up operation is expected to last around another 90 minutes."
