Driver was speeding on M6 with these tyres

Police were shocked to discover a motorist on the road with these bald tyres.

The driver of the Fiat Punto was stopped on the M6 near Preston yesterday (Tuesday May 23).

Officers said the driver was looking to 'get them done tomorrow' when asked by police to explain the state of the tyres.

The vehicle was not permitted to continued to be driven in this condition and reported.
