Meachers joins new Solent net-zero scheme

 

Meachers Global Logistics has become a member of a new group called The Solent Cluster, a decarbonisation initiative that aims to cut CO2 emissions from industry, transport and households across the region.

The company said it signed up at the group's launch event alongside the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership, ExxonMobil and the University of Southampton.

The group hopes to position the Solent at the centre of low carbon fuel production in the UK and contribute to the country's net zero [...]
