- Format remains unchanged, with all the action in one day

The new format of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux, presented well over a year ago, was clearly a direct hit in the first season. With events of one day, on beautiful circuits and on weekdays, the organization behind the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux opted for an unreleased formula, a formula that, however, caught on. In 2023, the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux will continue on the same path, with five meetings, on four different circuits, including both Benelux F1 tracks: Circuit Zandvoort and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

The former F1 circuit of Zolder and the temple of speed of the Moto GP, Circuit Assen, are also on a beautiful and balanced calendar.
"Never change a winning team", goes the saying, but that also applies to a strong formula and that strong formula of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux consists of meetings on one weekday, with action from morning to evening. A free practice session, a qualifying session and two 30-minute sprint races are the ingredients for pure driving and racing fun. "And all this in the high-quality environment of a Porsche competition, according to the quality standards of the well-known Porsche one-make series," says Series Manager Lars Plato.

That formula guarantees exciting action and we will see that action again five times in 2023. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux kicks off on May 16 in Zandvoort as part of a Porsche Track Day, while two weeks later - on June 1 - the championship heads to Assen, again during a Porsche Track Day. After the summer holidays, it will then be time for action on September 7 at Circuit Zolder, the first of two Belgian meetings, in the run-up to the European Truck Grand Prix.

On September 27, racing will take place as part of a Track Day at Circuit Zandvoort and the grand season finale, which will take place at the legendary circuit in the Belgian Ardennes: Spa-Francorchamps. On October 13, as part of the traditional Racing Festival, we will know the names of the 2023 year old champions.

"Obviously, we are once again betting on strong competition, open to the various Porsche racing models, including the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup - 991 and 992 - and the Porsche Cayman GT4 in its various configurations," says Lars Plato.
See you at the event on May 16 at the North Sea Dunes for the opener of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux 2023!
