Plainville motorcyclist dies after crash with pickup truck in Southington

A motorcycle driver died from injuries sustained in a crash with a pickup truck on Queen Street in Southington on Tuesday night, according to police. The Southington Police Department responded to 279 Queen Street after 6 p.m. Tuesday for a reported motor vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigations into the crash have found that David Sanabria, 39, of Plainville was driving a Guzzi Moto motorcycle north on Queen Street. A 60-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Queen Street at the same time. The two vehicles then collided in the northbound lane of Queen Street, police said.
Sanabria suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured in the crash, police said.
