Evri celebrates new Gatwick depot opening with local charity donation


Parcel delivery firm Evri, formerly known as Hermes UK, is celebrating the opening of its new Gatwick depot by donating GBP2,000 to St Catherine's Hospice. Hospice worker Emma Peadon received the donation from depot manager Stephen Byrnes, in the form of a giant cheque, at a ceremony at the new depot (pictured). Evri said the new 81,671sq ft distribution depot, which is located at Manor Royal, will double parcel handling capacity in the area to support local demand.
