HGV driver who killed cyclist found guilty of dangerous driving


A tipper lorry driver who caused a fatal road traffic collision in Oxford, killing a cyclist on a roundabout, has been convicted of dangerous driving. Robert Whiting, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of causing death by dangerous driving when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court on 29 July. The offence carries a maximum penalty of 14 years' imprisonment.
