Dog recovered after truck stolen in North Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - A 6-month-old basset hound named Lola has been returned to her owner after she was abducted in their stolen pickup truck on Tuesday.

Lola was inside the blue 2016 Doge 1500 crew cab parked at Cascade Station when the truck was stolen at noon.

Help us find 6 mo. old "Lola" and the stolen pickup truck she was in. The blue 2016 Dodge 1500 crew cab with headache rack and HTX Pilot Services stickers on the side windows was taken from the Cascade Station parking lot at noon. Texas Plate-PXL2272 on the truck.

Police said that a handgun was also inside the truck.

A few hours later Lola and the truck were recovered. But the handgun was not found.

Police said Lola was "a bit tired after this ordeal, but in good spirits."

The truck was recovered but the firearm inside is still missing.
