Competitions watchdog calls for industry comment as it investigates GXO acquisition of Clipper Logistics


 

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is calling for comments on GXO Logistic’s GBP965m acquisition of Clipper Logistics as it launches its investigation into the deal.

The CMA is considering whether the acquisition will result in a substantial lessening of competition and is asking for comments on the transaction from any interested parties by the deadline of 16 August.
