Your article was successfully shared with the contacts you provided. A trucking association lost its latest bid at the U.S. Supreme Court to prevent California's AB5 from applying to the trucking industry.

The high court denied certiorari Thursday to a petition from California Trucking Association Inc. arguing the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act preempts the state law, which mandates the test employers must use to classify workers as employees.
