Menzies to recyle HGV curtains into bags as sustainability drive continues

 

Menzies Distributon is set to convert the PVC side curtains from its largest vehicles into durable bags. The group had been working with partners including Aura Brand Solutions to test the waste for upcyclability before it is processed and shipped for manufacture. No Menzies-related branding remains visible on the bags and the first trial will look to divert 17 tonnes of waste from landfill, potentially saving over 30 tonnes of CO2.
