Fish and chip shop supplier to open £1.9M Glasgow warehouse creating 20 jobs
One of the UK's leading fish and chip shop suppliers and fast food wholesalers will soon open a GBP1.9 million warehouse facility in Hillington. Following its recent acquisition of Morrison's Foodservices, T.Quality have invested in a new Hillington Park industrial estate unit which will lead to at least 20 new jobs. The Hull-based company already runs twelve distribution centres across the UK which supply and deliver 'a variety of products to fast food outlets, care homes and the wholesale fishmarket industry'.

"The new site in Hillington Park is the largest of all our depots and shows the exciting potential and plans which we will be laying down in Scotland.
"The site and our acquisition of Morrison's Foodservices is truly a game-changer for how we will operate in Scotland and really is an exciting opportunity for T. Quality." Renovations will see the unit, which was originally built in the 1950s, transformed into an energy-efficient space with internal offices and a yard built to accommodate modern HGV usage standards.
Works are being undertaken by Insite Contracts with EPC Associates being Project Manager for Frasers Property. Grant Edmondson, Commercial Director at Hillington Park said: "It was a bold move by Frasers Property to commit nearly GBP2m to speculatively redevelop this 1950's building but we were confident that a high-quality scheme would let quickly.
