According to the FHP, a 71-year-old man was using a Chevrolet Silverado to tow an unoccupied BMW using a chain in the parking lot at 4371 Clark Road at about 1 p.m. The chain was attached to the front of the pickup and the rear of the BMW. The truck stopped and the BMW continued to roll in neutral toward it.

The man exited the truck with it in reverse gear and the truck struck him. The BMW continued to roll and struck the man. The man was hospitalized and pronounced dead.

The FHP has not released the identity of the man; the incident remains under investigation
