Box truck driver accused of killing cyclists pleads guilty on two counts of DUI

The box truck driver accused of killing five Las Vegas bicyclists last year has pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI resulting in death. Jordan Barson was driving a truck in December 2020 when he crashed into a group of cyclists. RELATED | Driver accused of DUI in crash that killed five cyclists extradited to Clark County

Sentencing is scheduled for June 9th.

Five of the cyclists were killed in the collision.

The Clark County Coroner’s office identified them as Erin Michelle Ray, Girard Nivea, Tom Trauger, Aksoy Ahmet and Mike Murray.
