Golden Highway closed at Dunedoo near Digilah Road, Leadville near Black Stump Way and Merotherie Road

Three sections of the Golden Highway are closed north-east of Dubbo due to flooding, the Transport Management Centre advises. The highway is closed in both directions at Dunedoo near Digilah Road, as well as at Leadville near Black Stump Way and Merotherie Road. Motorists are advised by the centre to avoid these areas.

Motorists who need to travel can use Ulan Road, Cope Road, Herbert Street, Mayne Street, Goolma Road, Gollan Road, Cobbora Road and Muronbung Road. Allow extra travel time. Dunedoo recorded 17mm of rain in the 24 hours to 9am, the Bureau of Meteorology reported.
