Binman filmed cheating death as he's dragged into rubbish truck in freak accident

A binman was seconds from death when he was dragged into the back of a rubbish truck - before managing to scramble to safety. Terrifying footage shows the worker being lifted into the vehicle while dumping what appear to be planks of wood in the back, Birmingham Live reports. He is then pulled deeper into the lorry, before being saved by his pal who rushes over and stops the machine.
The binman then manages to climb out, with his colleague offering him a helping hand to get down.
